About
Sobritey Merch
I’m Dennis, a graphic designer, recovery advocate, and proud Pittsburgh resident. For many years, I faced the heavy challenges of alcoholism, addiction, toxic relationships, and co-occurring mental health struggles. There were days when everything felt overwhelming, and traditional support options didn’t feel like the right fit for me. I know what it’s like to search for hope while feeling isolated, and I remember how small, everyday reminders of strength could make a real difference during tough moments.
Through my own experience, I discovered the power of non-traditional paths—things like creative expression, personal reflection, community connection, and simple daily tools that helped me rebuild one day at a time. These approaches gave me a sense of empowerment and purpose when I needed it most. That’s why I created Sobriety Merch.
Sobriety Merch is more than just an online shop for apparel, gifts, and recovery-inspired items. It’s my way of giving back and creating something positive from my journey. As a graphic designer, I pour my passion into designing apparel and merchandise that celebrate sobriety milestones, resilience, and personal growth. These are wearable reminders and meaningful gifts meant to uplift and motivate—whether it’s a simple “One Day at a Time” design or something that marks a hard-won milestone.
Recovery isn’t linear, and it looks different for everyone. Some days are harder than others, but every step forward deserves recognition. Sobriety Merch exists to honor those steps with inspiring designs, helpful content, and a sense of connection. Whether you’re early in your journey, celebrating years of sobriety, or simply supporting someone you care about, I hope you’ll find something here that resonates.
My heart is in helping others who might not have easy access to the support they need or who prefer more flexible, self-directed approaches. By combining my design skills with my lived experience, I want to create products and resources that feel personal and authentic—not clinical or one-size-fits-all.
